Birthday & Anniversary Dinner

3/12: I got dolled up tonight! My good friend Jamie offered to come over with her 2 year old son, Cort and play with my three so that we could go out to dinner! She also offered to bring pizza and feed the kids! This has been the absolute sweetest thing a friend could do for us! I was simply amazed with her kindness! We don't go out much. We don't do babysitters and you know we don't have family around so this was indeed a TREAT!! I accepted her offer joyously! I totally surprised Rob! He had no clue this was planned until few hours before Jamie was to arrive! He was thrilled that we would be able to go celebrate our anniversary! Jamie arrived at 4:30. (I planned on early dinner so that we could be back by bath time!) We went to Fuzion and had yummy yummy SUSHI!! Thanks again to Jamie and Cort! We love you guys!

Another Birthday

3/11: Yes, another birthday! I got beautiful cards from my babies and Rob! I also got a dozen long stemmed beautiful roses!! They truly were so beautiful and smelled so nice! We celebrated low key as most anything we do these days! I actually picked my birthday cake-Publix Italian Wedding cake! If you haven't had--it's so yummy! I received a ton of birthday wishes on facebook! Very nice to hear from so many friends! I also heard from friends that are not on fb. Yes, there are people who don't do fb!!! Had a super sweet day!! Thanks to all my friends! Also, thanks to my hubby who tried so hard to give me a great day!! He sometimes doesn't understand that it is already GREAT because I have an amazing family---anything extra is just extra!!

Austin and his Chameleon

3/3: Austin is ALL boy! He LOVES bugs and anything that crawls. Mommy is not too happy about this but I try to be prepared because I am aware that I have two boys!! Ready or not---Austin chased a chameleon and actually caught it! I was simply amazed that he chased and never lost his patience but waited patiently for the right moment to catch it! It paid off for him and he caught it! After playing with it--letting it go---catching it again---we finally took it away and put it in a tree! Poor little chameleon.

Dr. Seuss Storytime at Target

2/26: To celebrate one of our favorite writers-Dr. Seuss-we went to Target to their Dr. Seuss Celebration. It was great and Austin, Matthew and Emily totally enjoyed storytime! They also got goody bags which they loved!

2/7: Emily loves to dress up! If I happen to leave her closet door open she is all for looking to see what she can find. Today she found her Christmas dress. Yes, it is too small. but she accesorized with her pearl handled purse and 1 inch heels --oh and don't forget her purple cell phone! That's my girl!!

Christmas Chairs

1/22: Our Christmas 2010 was challenging as we were not home and faced the passing of my "Abuelita". Once we came home, getting back to routine was hard and rough. It has already been a trying year! My amazing in-laws had sent the Peas Christmas $. We had chosen to buy cozy and elegant chairs for them. Thankfully, we bought them early and they had been sitting in the garage. We finally were able to unpack their chairs!! Thanks Mom and Dad Walter! The Peas absolutely loved their chairs!! The rest of the Christmas $ was put in their college funds!As usual, Matthew is always front and center helping DAD!!

Snack Thief

1/22: When snacks disappear at our house, I blame Rob! Well, I think we have new culprits!! I caught the boys red handed with a bag of Doritos! As you can see they were surprised and were hiding under the table!!
