The Toy Box

2/8: The boys LOVE to play in the toy box! They are always laughing and giggling! I love to hear them play! Emily also tries to get in the toy box with the boys!
HI MOM!
Just look at Matthew's face!!
This is a different day but the same place!
What else is in there? We have upgraded from clothes baskets to these large buckets for their toys. When we brought them home, the peas wanted to explore and see what they were!

Super Bowl Sunday!

2/7: Super Bowl Sunday! It was supposed to be a quiet game (Dallas not in Superbowl!) but it turned out to be a very exciting game! Very cool that the Saints Won!!! We had our friends Jeff and Kathryn come over. It wasn't a planned event and sometimes those are the BEST! Rob grilled chicken and roasted brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes! Yummy!! We tend to roast lots of sweet potates lately because the babies LOVE them!!!
Austin giggling! Love his giggle!! Oh, so cute!! Emily and Matthew
Sitting in Dad's Rocker!
Emily is very bright and loves to "sign"! She can sign "more", "thank you" and we are working on "finished"!

Play House

2/6: This past summer we bought this cute play house. Yes, it is for outdoors but we just can't wait any longer. It gives the babies something to play in and explore! In addition, we just couldn't wait to give up more space in the living room! (sigh) It was a HUGE hit!! We love all love it! Thanks Dad for cleaning it up and making it ready for indoors! We love you!!

Play Date

2/5: A few weeks ago a friend recommended a website to find local MOM groups! I signed up and actually decided to try to go to our first play date! It is a bit easier now that the peas are all walking. I actually felt confidant that this was something that I could do alone! Our hostess was a military spouse with 2 girls, 1 and 3. We had a good time. The babies were a tad shy at first but all eventually played! It was nice to meet new people and see the babies play with other children! It does take a bit of planning to do an event like this but I am hoping to maybe catch one once a month or so!!
Eating Breakfast before our playdate! Emily has a pretty bow!
Yes, we wore shoes today! Yay! Matthew

Triplet Choo Choo

2/3: I am so happy today! After many, many months of searching I have finally found a triplet choo choo! It is in used condition. The company that makes it, STEP2 stop production of this product. They are retooling it and making it better. Well, we don't know when it will be on the market again. The company doesn't know either. (I was calling every other month or so to ask!) So, after searching multiple city craigslist--I finally found one close to us! We had to drive a little over 100 miles to pick it up but oh, so worth it! The Peas are in love with the wagon and we can't wait for warm weather to take it out for walks! The Mom that sold it to us sold it at a fabulous price. That was another problem...because it isn't made anymore--people were selling this at times for over $500! Searching Craigslist paid off!! YAY!
