New Toy and Sick Babies

5/26: Yesterday morning I cleaned out our front closet! I actually found Allie's birthday gift for Austin, Matthew and Emily. In November, I put it away because the age on the box said 18 months+ and completely forgot about it! So, today I brought it out for them and they got a new toy! Thanks Jahn Family! They really are enjoying their gift!! Therapy with Kathryn

We had a rough night. Yesterday right before lunch Matthew felt a bit warm. I took his temperature and he was running 102.6 fever! I started him on Motrin. Later after therapy, Emily felt warm too. She was running 101.4 fever as well. I took Austin's temperature and he also had a fever. Oh, boy! The funny thing is that besides them being a bit clingy they were acting pretty normal and played well. They went to bed as usual and I got up every couple hours to check on them. At 2:30am, Matty felt really warm again so I woke him up and gave him Tylenol and brought him to bed with me so I could keep my eyes on him. This morning, Matthew and Emily had a fever again! It's just weird because they don't have any other symptoms. Gave them Tylenol and they have been better this afternoon! Rob comes home tomorrow! We will all be so happy to have Daddy home!! We sure have missed him!!

Monday Care Package

5/24: It's Monday! We had a nice weekend. Quiet and peaceful! I didn't go anywhere...just stayed home with the babies and enjoyed being with them! We played with blocks, trucks and watched Toy Story and Ice Age! This afternoon I got a package from my Mom. My Mom sends a gift box for the babies probably once a month! It's always full of goodies. This time, because we are going on vacation soon, she sent baby sunglasses and lots of hats! Austin, Matthew, and Emily LOVE wearing hats! She also sent a few outfits, bathing suits and even a few goodies for Mommy! I love getting packages!

We had swimming tonight! It's our last week of water class!! They all did amazing!! The boys are really kicking in the water now! It truly is amazing to see their progress! When we got home it was time for night time routine and off to bed promptly at 8:30pm!! I always go and check on them and I keep telling Rob that Emily sleeps hugging both stuffed toys. I haven't taken pictures for fear of waking them up but I just couldn't help it tonight. They are all so cute in their sleep!! Here is Emily with her Dr. Seuss Doll and her Easter Bunny-one under each arm!!

Cupcake Thursday

5/20: This afternoon, our neighbor Sibel stopped by the house to bring a treat for Austin, Matthew and Emily! Miniature Chocolate Cupcakes! We had afternoon snack and then I gave them each a cupcake! They LOVED them! Thanks Sibel for always being so incredibly thoughtful!

Matthew doesn't always use his sign language but for this occassion he did! He is signing, MORE!! I had to give him another one!!Noone enjoyed their cupcake more than Matthew!!!How can you deny this happy face a cupcake??Matthew ate 2 cupcakes and wanted more...you can see what happened when Mommy said, "no more!"Austin was so cute with his cupcake! It had tiny sprinkles on it and he picked them off and ate them one by one!
